- it's built from the ground up for collaboration
- it runs more like a mailing list, you will get emails of the posts
- it allows for the creation of pages, things like the Diary could have their own page for us to edit and comment on together
- it has space for files to be uploaded also
- i think it's easier to navigate the comments from posts
- signing up for a new service might be a pain for some
- of course we have all our content here, although we could keep this page up as an archive
- it's a Beta so it might be a little wonky at first

Ok, I sent an invite to everyone, to allow for people to look at the page.
I followed your link, and it wouldn't let me in.
Nig...
You will need to sign up for a Google Group account in order to access.
Nothing to terrible strenuous as I have seen, although I was offered to make a picture 1 time, passed on it and can't get back to it now.
Oh wait, when I come at it from the link left above, I CAN change the picture.
Weird.
If the interface continues to be that twonky, I will have to vote a no for now...
Just my opinion.
You can do that from your profile page. Click edit.
Although the picture change thingy seems not to be working right now. :)
I finally found my way in. Thanx for the advice. :)
Nice picture of Lovecraft, but it would be better if he looked more cyclopean.
Hmmm. I signed up. I then activated my account. So far so good. Then I clicked to accept the invite to the group. Again, no problem, it said I joined the group. However, I now when I try to go to the group page it tells me I am not a member.

Yeah, it has to wait for me to approve you. :)
Not so fond of it really. But then again, I hate learning new things.
