I'm worshipping who?!?

That's the question I have for you.

I'm not asking you to answer 10 questions, I'm asking you to answer one (in several parts). Again, XP will be given.

The question is this...

Who does your character worship, and why? Does he worship only one primary deity, or several deities? If he worships several, which one does he rely on in times of trouble? Are there any deities which your character openly dislikes?

Note that answering this question does not mean you're on the fast track to becoming a priest or anything. Your character doesn't have to be particularly religious. I'm just curious as to what religious affiliations are in the party.

As for the offer of bonus XP for answering the Ten Questions from the book, if I don't see those by tomorrow from anyone else, I'm going to split the points between Tim and Brad.

I'm intersted in fate and destiny, so I hold Verena most high. Of course, when the axes start flying, I'm quick to give Ulric a shout. I'm respectful of all the gods, and I count on them to protect us, although I admit I never had a whole lot of use for Ranald.

Aeryn was raised by a family of the religious class. He was supposed to be an initiate of Isha, as his brother was supposed to be an initiate of Kurnous. Neither, of course, followed their assigned paths for various reasons, some of course beyond their control at the moment. Though deeply respectful of Isha, Aeryn actually feels more connected to Kurnous, and wears his symbol around his neck. Both gods recieve his prayers and respects, but Aeryn feels that he owes Kurnous because of his "error" and would probably try to honor him as much as possible. In the end, however, they are held equally in reverence although this is sometimes difficult to reconcile because it always feels like one is being ignored in favor of the other, and he feels guilty about that. As far as the human gods go, he's never had much experience with them, and is kind of curious about them. He absolutely despises the Chaos gods: Nurgle, Horned Rat, Slaanesh, Khorne, Tzeentch, in that order. He's also been taught to hate Khaine but has never actually met a Khaine worshipper or anything else associated with him.

Who does your character worship, and why? The standard Dwarvin deities, with a special place for Valaya/Thungni for his gift of runic weapons/gifts to the clans
Does he worship only one primary deity, or several deities? Several, see above
If he worships several, which one does he rely on in times of trouble? Depends on who is applicable, Grimnir is low on the list because of Furdok’s interaction with Slayers in the past & because the honor has not yet completely been lost.
Are there any deities which your character openly dislikes? Some of the human deities seem to be questionable, like Ulric, Ranald, Verana and Taal. The chaos deities are beyond reproach. Again Grimnir is an answer because he is respected and feared in the same breath.
